Some Memories of Logan

I haven't posted much of anything here lately. I think a real-life, full-time job really just milks the creativity out of me. At any rate, I came across some pictures of people that I used to keep it real with in Logan.

This photo was snapped shortly before Kim and I became engaged to be married. We visited Logan and had lunch with some of my homies: (from left to right) No-Sauce, Megan, Wife, Big Country, Joshnormous, the Shaner, McQueen, and Russell the Muscle.

Although it appears we are dining on the inside of a greenhouse, we are actually enjoying the Tex-Mex cuisine of [can't remember name].

Thanks to someone's Facebook page, I found these two photos of myself and Josh. Risa's cabin in Logan Canyon was a favorite gathering place for weekend campfires and college-age hijinks. Here Josh and I are pictured building one of said fires. I only include this because it highlights my attractive back-side. Those calves are monsterous - this is why I'm hot.

Speaking of hot, here Josh and I bask in the fruits of our fire building ability. I don't know where all the hot chicks are but I swear they were there. That's how I remember it anyway. Risa's cabin did have a big mattress swing where makeouts occurred frequently. I'm sure the girls were all waiting in line at the swing with Brucifer...

Anyway, these remind me of good memories. It was only Thursday that a few of these good friends visited Kim and I in our new home and we enjoyed some homemade pizza together. That was good. I enjoyed that. We didn't take any pictures but maybe I'll draw some with my paint program and post them later.

Brain Freeze

"I'm not saying the green popsicle can't be eaten in one bite, I'm just saying it's not a good idea."

I'm back...!

...like a bad viral infection. I was never really gone; I just didn't have a computer.

But now, I do. Say 'hello' to the Lappy e1505.

With any luck, the blog posts will now flow without interuption.

In other news, my Bears are back to their old form with a 3-5 mid-season record and the Jazz are looking like they'll go 82-0 if they play Golden State every game this season. Otherwise, we're looking at a 3-79 season. My Red Sox won the Series, but they are not really my Red Sox. My team is the Mets, but I jumped on the Boston bandwagon back in '03... The Aggs are looking to maintain their spot as one of only two teams in Division I college football to not win a single game. Good luck guys.

I've done it.

Married the woman of my dreams...on top of a mountain, with flutes playing and trombones and flowers and garlands of fresh herbs. We danced until the sun came up and now we are going to have children and they will form a family band and we will tour the countryside...

Actually, it was in the Bountiful Temple and it was pretty wonderful. Here are some photos:

August 4, 2007 has gone down in time as the single greatest date of all time. I apologize to those of you who missed it - especially if I forgot to send an invitation. Thank you to all of those who were able to be a part of it. We recieved so many wonderful gifts and so much help with everything from pictures to putting chocolate sauce on the cheese cake. I was terrible at getting invitations out and I've proven to be even worse at sending 'thank yous.'

Thanks for everything especially for the friendships and love. It was a wonderful day.

Thank you most especially to Kim. I love you.

Here is a picture of some people:

Near miss...

Saturday morning my baby sister flipped her car and rolled it. She was life-flighted but walked away with just a concussion and some staples in her head. We're all happy she's okay and not injured any worse. Those on scene were amazed that anyone walked away from it. Those who have her back are thankful Heavenly Father took care of her...
